"got a garden of songs where i grow all my thoughts"

If someone tells you to listen to a song, listen to it.  It may be the worst song you have ever heard but they wanted to share it with you.  That is really special.  If it makes them feel a certain way and they are so adamant about you hearing it, take 5 minutes to hear it.  It shows a lot about someone.

Kid, I’ve flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I’ve seen a lot of strange stuff, but I’ve never seen *anything* to make me believe that there’s one all-powerful Force controlling everything. 'Cause no mystical energy field controls my destiny.

People aren’t either wicked or noble. They’re like chef’s salads, with good things and bad things chopped and mixed together in a vinaigrette of confusion and conflict.

One thing I’ve found that surprises and sometimes even angers people about me is that I don’t hate my body. Think about that. People want and expect other people to hate their bodies. Some people think that bc I’m fat, I should be ashamed and cover up. And then there are people who think I need to cover up solely for being a woman. That being a woman and having a woman’s body is shameful. They might not openly say that but every time you call a woman a slut or a whore or belittle her for not being ashamed of her body, you are shaming her not for clothes or lack of but for being a woman. That somehow being a woman in itself is a terrible thing. We’ve all done it, including myself but we need to start taking responsibility. I don’t think any one should be ashamed of their extra pounds or their skinny figure or their big thighs or their boobs or any other part of their body. Do I think we should all post nudes on the internet? Of course not. But I do think we need to stop shaming people for their bodies. We need to start loving each other and it needs to start within yourself. Love yourself, love your body. Ladies, we are beautiful goddesses and our bodies are not shameful! #feminism #bodylove #bodypositivity #bodypositive #selflove #endslutshaming #stopbodyshaming #endfatshaming
